Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that powers the results. The site operator does not keep a copy of those searches on its own servers. A message sent to the contact address is visible only as part of that message and is used to answer it.
Automatic Server Data
Hosting systems may record normal technical logs such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Those logs are reviewed in aggregate for site health and page use. Cookies or similar tools may also support basic analytics or, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How the Data Is Used
Operational uses include serving pages, resolving faults, measuring traffic, and improving the reference. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built from these limited records.
Links to Other Services
Pages link to Los Angeles County portals, California systems, the Glendora library and archive, the Historical Society, and third-party search tools. A linked service has its own privacy policy, and that policy controls anything entered there. The same applies to sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Who May Receive Data
Hosting and technical providers process the server logs needed to operate the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is not disclosed beyond these service functions.
Security and Retention
The pages use an encrypted connection. Logs are kept only for the operational purposes described here and for as long as those purposes require. Because there are no user accounts, this site has no password or user profile to expose.
People Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Personal information from someone under 18 is not knowingly collected. If a minor is believed to have sent information, contact the operator so the message can be reviewed and deleted.
California Privacy Choices
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, along with limits for sensitive personal information and protection from discrimination. These rights arise under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including Civil Code section 1798.100 and following. Global Privacy Control is recognized where applicable.
Because the site keeps very little, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and available server logs, then removing information found there. Use the Contact page for a request. Government records held by Glendora, Los Angeles County, or California are controlled by their custodians, not by this site. California DROP is a separate state route for data-broker deletion; one request can reach more than 500 registered brokers, while the original government source remains with its custodian.
Changes to This Policy
An updated version will be posted on this page when the policy changes. Continued use after the new version appears indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
